dhcw Craftsmanship

Each dolls house by dhcw is made in England using a balanced combination of hand tools and machinery. The level of intricate detail and accuracy involved means that each one is of the highest standard available.

One of my favorite tools is the fretsaw, seen above

Choice of materials

We use hardwood for all our windows doors and mouldings. Jelutong is my preferred choice as it is smooth and accepts paints, stains and wood dyes very well.

The main body of each house is made from mdf; this is a fantastic material to work with for ourselves at production level and our customers when applying any type of finish.

Working with our customers

Although our houses are made to our own designs, we are always happy to discuses alterations or additions customers may require, and implement those ideas where possible. We can also offer help and advice throught the project, with lighting, decorating etc.

Across the range

Known for making dolls houses of an extremely high standard, we also produce a variety of mouldings including skirting boards and cornice of Georgian and Victorian design.

All our own products share the same values, attention to detail and commitment to quality this has helped made dhcw the brand it is today
